“PRIZE” SHORT STORIES OF JOSEPH P. SHERMAN
Four “Prize Short Stories” written by my grandfather Joseph Patrick Sherman, originally hailing from Monaghan County, Ireland; when he was police officer, 18th Precinct, for the New York City Police Department. These police officer tales appeared, in a period spanning from December 1938 to April 1940, in issues of "Spring 3100," a monthly magazine put out by the department. Of note and just incidentally, my grandfather knew and was the cousin of silent film and talkie actor Jack Mulhall.
